With a view to the historic Western Lands building across the road you could be transported back a hundred years, except that the beers are icy cold and there are fantastic meals available seven days in the bar, or in the large bistro area. The hotel boasts two bars, upstairs accommodation, a formal dining room along with dining areas, a large backyard with play equipment, and secure parking at the back.
Definitely one of the most impressive pubs along the entire pub route, the Port of Bourke has to be on your list to grab a beer, enjoy a meal, sit on the verandah and disappear into yesteryear.
The Port of Bourke Hotel is a Pub Stop along these adjoining Pub Routes. Discover more routes and pub history.
